What kind of bike do you recommend for riding around the Niseko area?

The cross bike is the perfect bicycle for touring around the Niseko area. A cross bike is literally a mix between a road bike and a mountain bike so really you are getting the best of both bikes in one.  They are ideal for rides between 50-100kms and can be ridden on paved or gravel roads with ease. If you like a bit of speed then of course we recommend a road bike. Either way you will enjoy yourself riding around Niseko.

Do you sell bicycles as well?

Yes we can assist with the purchase of a bicycle. We have a key bicycle supplier who will ship direct to us in Niseko or anywhere in Japan for that matter.  Please contact us directly if you would like to purchase a bike. A variety of makes and models available.

Do you service bicycles?

Yes, we can service bicycles but only minor services such as break adjustments, new chains, flat tires repairs, and gear adjustments. As we grow bigger we will provide full mechanical services. For major mechanical problems please contact us for details on where to get it fixed.

What makes Niseko a good cycling destination?

Many things make it great but probably the best thing about cycling in Niseko is the vast and open roads that weave in and out of the agricultural belt, through towns, by lakes and over hills and mountains. There is terrain suited for all levels and abilities and with Hokkaido’s size and sparsely populated land compared to Honshu, it makes this the ideal cycling destination. Whether you leave from your accommodation and do a tour of Niseko or if you prefer to take your bikes in the car and visit a different area of Hokkaido, the terrain is generally varied for all levels. If you want any suggestions for touring please ask us for suggested routes and we will be happy to assist.
